Noto – agricultural land with buildings

In the heart of the Noto countryside, in Contrada Grattaluri, lies a large agricultural land of about 20 hectares, a place that embodies all the beauty and authenticity of rural Sicily. This landscape, dominated by typical Mediterranean scrub, is embellished by rich vegetation consisting of olive, almond and carob trees.

Within the property stand two buildings, each with its own identity and history. The first, a historical building dating back to 1897, bears an engraving at the entrance testifying to its ancient origin. With a surface area of approximately 130 square metres, this building represents an authentic example of Sicilian rural architecture. Although it underwent renovation several years ago, it is now in need of a new intervention, enhancing the traditional elements that make it unique.

The second building, newly constructed, designed with the characteristic ‘U’ shape typical of Sicilian ‘bagli’, covers approximately 250 square metres and is currently being completed. This structure offers ample space that can be adapted to multiple uses, while maintaining a deep connection with the surrounding natural context.

This land is not only an oasis of unspoilt nature, but a place full of opportunities. Its extension and the presence of buildings make it ideal for agricultural activities, such as the production of oil, almonds or other typical Sicilian products, or for projects related to rural tourism.
